The Hogue Home
"When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence."
For the last fifteen years, King’s Ranch has brought hope to children in need, each one suffering from developmental trauma due to abandonment, neglect, or abuse. The Lord has allowed us to serve children and families from all over the world, and be equipped by world-renown therapists, parenting specialists, and child development experts. We’ve seen childhoods restored as parents are equipped to provide the level of care a rescued child needs.
Today, King’s Ranch serves over 500 adoptive families onsite and online with the support, resources, and encouragement they need to win as forever moms and dads, and most importantly, with the training and equipping they need to see their rescued child heal. Our therapeutic parenting program, Unplowed Ground, offers real strategies for real families, and has helped hundreds of families prepare their home for adoption and help their adopted child heal from the wounds of trauma. As we continue to open our doors every day for children in need through respite care, family trainings, therapy intensives, and retreats, our prayer is that immeasurably more children find hope here at the Ranch, as they find home in the love of their forever families.
As recent statistics estimate the number of orphans in our world today to be close to 18 million, and as Christian families join us in building longer tables, not higher fences, we exist to equip and support those families, until every son and daughter finds hope, and home.
